The Black Banana

I had another "you know you're a mom when" moment this evening.

For the past several days I have been smelling banana and not been able to pinpoint where it came from.

I found it finally while trying to find something else..........

Yes that is right I found this black squishy fruit in the bottom of my purse.

Going to the Chapel and Football Love

One of my cousins got married last weekend.

During the football game!

Well not really during, but right before.   We did get to watch part of the game before the reception started.  This is a pretty good video about the team I root for every fall. I am not a fair weather fan.  Sure I may be disappointed  a little when they lose, but I realize these are young kids under a lot of pressure.  Sometime I think people forget that.

Anyway back to the wedding.    Her colors were teal, brown, orange, and dark red....fall colors really.  It was very pretty the way it was put together.  She did a great job.  I know she did it all because my cousin, her now husband, said,  "I really didn't do much. A... did most of it, I just wrote the checks."

I managed to get a few pictures before somehow miraculously, the lens of my camera got a huge smudge on it.

hmmmmmm.......I wonder how that happened?

Me and Carter.

The wedding party waiting for the bride.

The happy couple reciting their vows.   She cried....because she cried, I cried.

My brother I...always happy to get his picture taken.

Carter trying to sneak away.

The Happy couple....I loved her hair!

Happy couple dancing.

Aunt J with Carter.

The cake, very pretty the little figurine on the second tier represents their daughter, whom I could not get a picture of.

Family doing the twist, yes my dad is in there.

I think it is customary for every bride to be serenaded by the groomsmen.

Grandma and Aunt D.

The cousins.

Fun weekend!
